As a consultant, his former clients include Allstate Insurance, Amoco, Arthur Andersen & Co., AT&T, Balcor/American Express, Baxter Healthcare, Nabisco, Hyatt Hotels, and McDonald’s, to name a few.Mr. Cavnar is an honors graduate of Illinois State University where he received degrees in Mass Communications and Television Production. In the Spring of 1997, he was awarded “Outstanding Young Alumni” by the University. In December of that same year, Mr. Cavnar was also awarded as one of America’s Top 100 Producers by Video and Multimedia Magazine. In 1999, he was bestowed with that award for the second time. In 1997 he was also awarded “Best Of” Chicago’s media production community by Screen Magazine. Mr. Cavnar is a frequent contributor to various media publications, both locally and nationally and has presented numerous lectures, workshops and presentations in his field. He has also authored severalpapers and a book on project management for communications professionals. He is also a past president of the Chicago Chapter of the International Television Association and was awarded the Joel Shea Long Term Dedication, Service, and Leadership award by the Chapter in 1997. He and his companies have won a vast array of industry awards for their work. He has taught Digital TV Production at the Ohio Center for Broadcasting and has toured the country teaching various communications, graphics and video workshops. He has taught seminars for organizations such as Skillpath Training, Videomaker Magazine, the International Television Association, and Digital Video Magazine.
