This track is designed for the church communicator who is new to the position or is serving as a one- or two-person communications department. Sessions provide tools, training and tips to help you juggle all your responsibilities, including writing, simple design, project management, message development, team-building and leadership relations. You’ll leave feeling empowered and ready to serve as a catalyst for improving how your church communicates.

Do you ever ask yourself, “What in the world am I doing in this position?” or “What does vector mean?” You may be looked to as the “creative one,” but what they don’t know is that down deep inside… you’re begging God for just one more original idea. This session is for those who have found themselves designing promotional pieces for the church and its ministries such as series graphics, outdoor banners, postcards, t-shirts, or newspaper ads — all without an official graphic design degree. You’ll learn simple tricks and ideas to make your work look more professional, along with tools to release the creative beast within you.
