Do you have experience in church communications you want to share? MinistryCOM is now accepting proposals for presentations at MinistryCOM 2010, October 20-22, 2010 in Dallas.
Who and what are we looking for? Generally we are looking for presentations by people who are currently serving on a church staff in a communications function. We do select some vendors as presenters, but we prefer to use church staff if possible.
The breakout sessions for 2010 will fall into the following tracks:
Pastor’s Track – sessions directed to senior leadership on the value of church communications, branding and marketing. These are high-level, strategic sessions.
Management Track – sessions for communication directors who manage a staff (ie. more than one person). Topics include management, planning, team-building. Includes a mix of strategic and tactical sessions.
Basics Track – also known as the “Boot Camp” track. This track is designed to educate someone new to church communications, usually in a one person department. Topics cover all the basics, mostly tactical but some strategy.
Design Track – sessions dedicated to graphic designers and “creatives”. Topics include best practices, creativity, etc. Mostly tactical and example sessions.
Technology Track – a new track dedicated to web and other technologies. A combination of strategy and tactics. This track will overlap with others.
Submissions should be emailed to tsanders@MinistryCOM.org before November 30, 2009. Submissions should include the following:
Presenter name, title, organization

Brief description of workshop (2 – 3 paragraphs)
