So many conferences, so little time. There’s always been a variety of great church conferences available. This year, with some new options in the market, the choices are even harder on where to spend your limited training and travel budget.
To help you out, we have created a completely unbiased list of criteria to help you decide if MinistryCOM is the right fit for you this year:
1. Your church has more ministry logos than members.
2. You are new to church communications and need to learn EVERYTHING… fast.
3. You are embarrassed to give your web address to visitors.
4. You want to see communications examples from dozens of churches all in one place.
5. Your leadership thinks “social networking” is a leading cause of teen pregnancy.
6. You’re looking for best practices, resources, and tools to improve communications.
7. Your senior pastor thinks any logo on TV is automatically “public domain.”
8. You know there must be a better way, but you can’t seem to get there by yourself.
9. Your staff thinks better communications means more brochures.
10. You want to meet other people who are crazy enough to work in church communications.
Frankly, if you have communications and new media all figured out, and your biggest concern is getting in early on the next big trend, then MinistryCOM might not be a great fit for you.
But if you’re struggling to do things better, feeling overwhelmed and under-appreciated, and generally looking for some recharge time with people who understand why this list is both funny and sad — then MinistryCOM is simply for you.
